Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent by Almighty Allah as a mercy to all peoples regardless of race or faith.
In fact, his teachings include mercy even to birds and animals, and forbid harming them without right or reason.
In a bid to spread true information about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Muslim Council of Elders has announced a new campaign highlighting Prophet Muhammed’s tolerant message of peace and love for humanity.

Under the hashtag #Prophet_of_Humanity, the campaign will be in various languages and on all social media platforms.
“The Muslim Council of Elders is set to launch a promotional social media campaign highlighting the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)’s tolerant message of peace and love for humanity,” the Council wrote in a series of posts on Twitter.
“The campaign also aims to address and respond to any false information about Islam by using the Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) own words as well as Islamic legislations inspired by him.”
Morals
The Council added on Twitter that “the campaign will feature some of the morals and actions of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) as well as ways in which his message became one of peace and love for the entire world.”
“This is in alignment with his calls for freedom of religion and human fraternity as in the historic ‘Medina Accords’ which have gone on to inspire many modern declarations in the same field.”
The #Prophet_of_Humanity campaign will also feature various senior Islamic scholars and their descriptions of Islam’s Prophet (PBUH) to the world. Among those is His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders.
“We are in a dire need for renewal of all facets of our lives, be it personal, social or humanitarian. We must learn from the character of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)”
