More than 17,850 generous Muslims came together on Giving Tuesday to celebrate giving, crowdfunding more than $1,300,000 in a single day.
The news was announced by LaunchGood, a global Muslim crowdfunding platform, at the end of GivingTuesday, a day when charities, businesses, and individuals came together to flex their philanthropy.
LaunchGood held a giveaway of $170K in prizes on Giving Tuesday, November 28, 2023. All live campaigns on www.launchgood.com were eligible to win prize money towards their causes.

According to the platform website, Help Gazans Rebuild Their Lives: Save One Studio by UK charity One Nation which raised $129,324 received $25,000.
In second place was The Palestine Project by CelebrateMercy which raised more than $106,571 received $15,000.
The third prize of $7,500 went to Water for Gaza with Khaled Beydoun which raised $49,811 USD.
Another category of prizes was offered to campaigns with the biggest number of supporters. The first three winners were Palestine in Pain: Urgent Support Needed w/ The Saleh Family, Help Establish new BECKTON MUSLIM CENTRE, and Fighting Hunger in Gaza: GivingTuesday Appeal.
