Event to Celebrate Legacy of Father of Islamic Psychology

An African proverb says: “When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground.” This is a strong testimony to the importance of knowledge and wisdom one possesses through life long experience, as well as the need to provide venues through which those achievements can be shared.

Professor Malik Badri (1932–2021) is the founding father of modern Islamic Psychology. His books and works are now treasures and gems for psychologists, helping them perform their roles in society.

Continuing the legacy of Prof. Badri, who passed away in 2021, the International Association of Muslim Psychologists (IAMP) will hold its 7th annual conference on February 5 – 8, 2022, to make sure his works and achievements are shared.
