Islamic Charity Organizes Snowdon Trek to Support Pakistan

A leading international Islamic charity is organizing a Snowdon Trek next month to support millions of Pakistani people affected by the floods.

Under the title, Dare to Trek Snowdon in the Snow, Islamic Relief will launch the challenge to ascend the 1,085 meters above-sea-level mountain on February 25, the charity’s website wrote.

“Last year, 186 challengers braved our toughest Snowdon Challenge and raised over £75,000 for #Afghanistan,” Islamic Relief wrote on Twitter.

“Join us this year to support those in need in #Pakistan, following the recent devastating floods,” it added.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.
