Any Proof for Life After Death? (Video)

Q The Hereafter is always mentioned in the Quran and in various Hadiths. It has been mentioned to us how there will a Day of Judgement and based on our deeds, we will either see the light of heaven or the darkness of the hell fire. What proofs have been given that there is a life after death?

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

In this fatwa:

One of the main themes in the Quran is the concept of life after death. Belief in the Hereafter is one of the fundamental pillars of our religion. Allah proved this point in so many different ways. He tells us to look at the plants and how life comes out of them, look at our own lives – surely the One who created us can recreate us again.

Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas and completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic University of Madinah.
