Mahmoud Nasr, a young Egyptian diagnosed with intellectual disability has managed to learn Qur’an by heart.
According to local media, Mahmoud, from Atildam Village in Minya Governorate, learned the Quran by heart by listening to the recitation of the verses of the Quran
It took him two years to memorize the entire Holy Book. He knows where exactly each verse is in a Juz or a Hizb of the Quran, IQNA reported.

Yesterday, December 3, marked the International Day of Disabled Persons and this year’s motto is ‘United in action to rescue and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for, with and by persons with disabilities’.
The Qur’an is a revelation from God, the Creator of the worlds, so He is the original author.
The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the archangel Gabriel who used to make the Prophet memorize the Qur’an and made him revise it every year in the month of Ramadan, the fasting month.

Memorizing the Holy Qur’an is one of the most important ways to preserve Allah’s message.
