The message sent to the mosque read, “I am not religious, but what is happening is not right.”

A Toronto mosque, vandalized for sixth time in three months, has received a beautiful gesture from a neighbor, denouncing hate and showing love and support for Muslims.

“A beautiful gesture from one of our neighbors. One of the neighbors of Masjid Toronto left this note anonymously and made a donation of $100,” Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) wrote on Facebook.

Ten days ago, the Masjid Toronto found its window broken for the third time in three weeks.

This incident, along with the vandalism experienced by another MAC mosque, is the sixth time local mosques have been hatefully attacked in three months.

In addition to the broken windows, there have been attempts to break into the mosques. Also a racist graffiti has been scrawled on the walls and windows, according to MAC.

According to MAC, the Masjid Toronto is one of the most-visited mosques in the greater Toronto area.
