My Dream Job Vs My Parents

19 May, 2023
Q My question is that I want to become a football player and my parents don't know.

I'm going to tell them. The problem is that they will not allow me.

I have kept this to myself and only told my friends about it. I want to tell them because I want their support. If they say no to my dream then am I disobedient to still follow it.

They always say that I will go to hell if I don't listen to their choices. It's not like I'm going to be an alcoholic or anything haram.

I have a feeling that they will say that I have to choose between football and them!

Can they make me do so? Please help me.

Will Allah punish me if I go against my parents?

I do not want to think all my life that I could have become a football player and live in depression due to that.
