Why Does Quran Mention Other Prophets by Name Only?

20 December, 2021
Q Why does the Quran mention other Prophets like Ibrahim, Musa and Isa by name more often than the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

In this fatwa:

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been given great distinction and important in the Quran. When Allah refers to other prophets, it is without a title but when He the Almighty addresses Prophet Muhammad, it is with a title.
