Imam Yahya Ibrahim
Imam Yahya Ibrahim started his knowledge journey with the memorisation of Quran in his teens and then pursued his studies in exegesis, jurisprudence and hadith with scholars from the Hijaz, and in Egypt as well.
He is Canadian by birth, Egyptian through ancestry, Turkish via marriage, and Australian by choice of residence and migration.
Imam Yahya Ibrahim is currently the Head of Islamic Studies and Assistant Principal at Langford Islamic College, Senior Imam at Thornlie Mosque, Islamic Chaplain at Curtin University and the University of Western Australia and lecturer for the internationally acclaimed al-Maghrib Institute. Imam Yahya is also a Minister of Religion, empowered to officiate marriages for the Australian Islamic community.
