If you choose to marry or you choose not to marry that is your prerogative. Marriage is encouraged if it is good for you.

Sometimes, marriage is not good for some people. There are some very famous scholars in Islam who never got married. Ibn Taymiyyah, Imam Nawawi never got married. Many of the famous scholars just didn’t have the time or the desire to get married.

It is permissible not to marry. However, if you are young and you think you will never get married, this may change as you get older.
