Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante Stops for Chat and Photo with Shopper in ASDA

Chelsea’s Muslim star N’Golo Kante has once again won the hearts of fans for showing his humble side, stopping for a chat and a photo with a shopper at a grocery shopper in ASDA.

Sarfaz Ahmed stopped the humble star for a chat. He went to Twitter later, posting a photo with the Chelsea midfielder, Daily Mail reported.

“Went out for some casual grocery shopping at Asda and look who I bumped in to. What a player and what a human being! Very kindly took a picture with me and was so polite,” Ahmed wrote.

“Listened patiently to what I had to say, so humble for a player of such class!”

Kante is currently out injured with an ankle knock and was not in the squad for the Blues’ 1-0 win against Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday evening.

He was named the UEFA Midfielder of the Year and picked up the award from president Aleksandar Ceferin on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge.

Back in 2018, the World Cup winner met fans spontaneously when visiting a mosque in central London after missing a train to France.

Shortly afterwards, he went back to a fan’s house whom he met at the mosque and ate chicken curry, played FIFA and watched Match of the Day.
