Researchers say they have discovered the world’s longest salt cave inside Malham Cave, overlooking the Dead Sea. The cavern, which extends over six miles (10km) underground, is believed to be even more extensive than Iran’s Namakdan cave, which was previously thought to be the longest salt cave.
