Why Does Allah Take People From Us?

The greatest blessing of all is that Allah is pleased with you. If you were born into Muslim families, do you realise how easy you had it? People spend their entire lives trying to find Islam, trying to find meaning and purpose. For those that were born Muslim, you were given it when you were born.

Imam Shafi’i had a very beautiful dua. “O Allah, You gave me Islam and I didn’t even ask You for it. So give me Jannah and I am asking you for it.” This means Allah was merciful enough to give born Muslims Islam without them even having to ask for it. Yusuf (PBUH) said: “You are the Originator of the heavens and the earth. You are my Guardian in this life and in the next.”

rophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a difficult life. His dad had already died before he was born. His mother died when he was 6 and then his grandfather died when he was 8 then his uncle died. His first two children died. His uncle who protected  him died and then his wife, Khadijah (RA) died.

Everyone is taken away from us who we love. Why? Because it is a lesson for us to understand that we can only rely on Allah. If our heart is attached to anyone else what will we do when that person is taken away from us.
