Abdalhamid became a Muslim at the age of 26 so has been a Muslim for 30 years. His parents were both psychologists so he was not bought up with any religion. He left school in 1967 and had a spiritual experience in the late 60’s. He felt his religious quest was over until he met a friend who introduced him to Islam in Norwich. They had so many answers for him and it was so attractive to him. He went back to his family in Ireland and he was really concerned about what his wife would say! Watch his story here!
