A period usually lasts between 5-7 days but sometimes it can be longer or shorter depending on the woman. Islam doesn’t consider women as impure when we have our periods. This is in contrast to other cultures and religions.
So why are there Islamic rulings when a woman is on her period? When we look closer, we will see it is actually a mercy from Allah.
