A questioner asks: Should we force our women to wear hijab, niqab or burkas? It is a man’s responsibility over the family to make sure they follow Islam.
However, the issue is not to force someone to do something. We should educate and convince our family to do what Islam requires.
If someone is forced to do certain practices that Islam requires, they will not be doing it because of Allah. They will be doing it because someone else is forcing them. Therefore they will hate this thing.
