Everyday shaytaan sends his soldiers to destroy us. The Prophet (pbuh) says the greater mischief and damage a shaytaan does, the greater the reward they get from Iblees. At the end of the day they all gather and one shaytaan says ” I whispered to a man and his wife against one another that this marriage cannot continue”. 

The devil will do whatever it takes to damage good marriages. This does not mean in cases of abuse that you should put up with it, NO, it means the devil attacking happy couples. 

Then Iblees says to this shaytaan “You are the best”. Iblees has thousands of years of experience and knows that breaking families apart makes his job of destruction much easier.
