There are restrictions for Muslims in China. Mosques have to be registered to the Government and the Imams have to be appointed by the state. The only Qurans allowed are those sanctioned by the state and teaching the Holy book in private is banned. Having said all of that, life for Muslims in China is slowly improving as Islam grows in China!
