As we look at the history of Islam in Britain, we need to look at Britain’s role in India and the engagements we had with India before the Empire was formed. In this talk, Lubaaba Al Azami talks about the very beginning of Britain’s relation with India with the very first ambassador, Sir Thomas Roe.
