It is important that we pray for our children to be obedient and for our future generations. Here is a beautiful dua from Surah Baqarah verse 128. 

رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Rabbana wajAAalna muslimayni laka wamin thurriyyatina ommatam muslimatallak waarina manasikana watubAAalayna innaka anta attawwabu arraheem Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our (generation) descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to you. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, you are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
