Last year at the 52nd ISNA convention, talks opened about race and prejudice in the USA and how Muslims can combat this. The Bilal Initiative is to reclaim the multi-generational, multi-cultural and woman-friendly ethos that did occur in the early days of Islam under the leadership of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Muslim community does not follow this example today. This talk is very useful on how we can make the steps to do that once again.
