Is backbiting and cursing non-Muslims allowed in Islam? We know that Islam prohibits this behaviour but is it only prohibited against Muslims?

The answer is no. Many Muslims think they shouldn’t backbite and curse Muslims only. However this is a gross-misunderstanding.

We shouldn’t backbite or curse any human being regardless of who they are or what they believe. Backbiting and cursing is evil behaviour.

We should all fear Allah and be careful what we say about people and not make excuses for bad behaviour.
