Are those really the footprints of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in Makkah in the golden case? We know that Prophet Ibrahim was ordered by Allah to build the Kabah with his son Ismael. 

We believe that the gold dome that encases the concrete slab with the footprints are actually those of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is believed that this brick with his footprints in is from the Kabah. It is believed that Prophet Ibrahim (AS) would stand on top of the Kabah to build it while his son passed him the bricks.
