Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said those that act with justice, treat others fairly, will be raised on platforms of light, seated next to Al-Rahman.

Justice is an essential concept in Islam. We are told that Allah instructs us with justice and good conduct. This is in the Quran.

We are told to be just within in the family. Ask yourself are you fair and just when it comes to our families and children?

A lot of parents have a favourite among their children. Even if the parents don’t favour one child over another, the children can perceive that the parents do.

Those children that fell they are not treated fairly by their parents are far more likely to use drugs, turn to alcohol and suffer from low self-esteem and depression.

The situation is even bad for the favourite child because they often find themselves in the middle trying to solve the issue in the family.

No one wins from favouring one child over another in the family.
