1. Dhul Qa’dah is the 11th month of the Islamic calendar.

2. It is the 3rd holy month in Islam, which means any battle is impermissible.

3. It is one of the sacred months along with Muharram, Rajab and Dhul Hijjah.

4. The rewards for good deeds are magnified in the sacred months.

5. The punishments for bad deeds are also magnified.

6. Hajj was made obligatory for Muslims as one of the five pillars of Islam during this month.

7. The first ever Umrah was made during this month by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

8. It translate as the one of truce.

9. Shawwal is before this month and Dhul Hijjah comes after this month.

10. The Prophet (PBUH) used to fast on the 13th, 14th and 15th of this month.
