Expecting too much from children is one of the common mistakes parent make nowadays. Sheikh Mufti Menk advices parent that while it is good to want your child to be at their best, we shouldn’t also expect too much from them.

But remember that every child has his or her dreams and aspirations, which may sometimes not be in line with what we desire for them. Continue to make Dua that may Allah continue to guide them on their life choices.
