Thank you for your good question.

Of course, you may go and offer your sincere condolences to the deceased’s family and relatives.

You only need to consider that the Muslim does not participate in the religious rituals peculiar to other faiths.

May Allah accept your and our good deeds, ameen.

Does a promise have to be fulfilled by a Muslim, if it is signed in the form of contract ,but Allah's name is not written in there. And is a promise done to you by yourself also valid and does it have to be fulfilled.

Thank you for your good question.

A Muslim has to be faithful and to fulfill and keep his or her promises and commitments.

The Qur’an and the Sunnah ask Muslims to keep their promises and warn them against breaking promises. For example, Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) said, “The signs of the hypocrite are three, even if he/she fasts, prays, and claims to be a Muslim.” Then he mentioned (the signs of the hypocrite as): “Whenever he/she promises, he/she breaks his/her promise. Whenever he/she makes a covenant, he/she proves treacherous. Whenever he/she speaks, he/she tells a lie.” (Reported by Muslim)

So, you have to keep and fulfill your promises whether they are documented, verbal, contracts, etc.

May Allah accept your and our good deeds, ameen.

Salam alaykum I was wondering if semen in the form of maniy touches an object (f.ex phone or computer). Is it compulsory to wash or wipe this computer or is it enough to let it just dry off. My question is basically if maniy is touching upon an object and it dries... If I touch this object without having cleaned it (however it is dry and not visible of maniy), will this invalid/dirty my hands? Do I need to purify the object or my hands of maniy. Answer is appreciated Jazakallah

Thank you for your good question.

Many scholars, including Imams Ash-Shafi`i and Ahmad, consider semen (mani) to be pure.

However, it is advised to wash it away if it is wet, and if dry, to scrub or erase it from body, cloth, or any other surface it may have come into contact with.

May Allah accept your and our good deeds, ameen.

Thank you for your good question.

I pray to Allah Almighty to bless your marriage, ameen.

In fact, the girl, per Islamic law, has the final say about her marriage as long as she is of the marriage age and the marriage contract meets the legal conditions.

It is my advice for the girl to spare no efforts to maintain good relationship with her parents and get them share such a blessed, happy occasion with her. Their presence in her wedding is very significant.

Moreover, I do advise you to visit a local imam for help and counseling; he may contact the girl’s parents and bring the family members closer.

May Allah accept your and our good deeds, ameen.
