We do not treat a problem by throwing another problem at it. Nothing will save people like truth and honesty. A judgement has been made by you in a good intention but it was not received well by your friend and she felt you have betrayed her. You should have gone directly to her in the beginning explaining the intention behind the reason why you told her parents. Going to another friend was actually adding another level to the problem.

I believe you still have a chance to come clean of explaining exactly what had happened. It might not change the heart of your friend towards you but maybe with little time some healing will happen and I hope things will get back good between both of you insha Allah.
