In the Name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving.
All praise is due to Allah. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad.
Your question does not say whether this sickness is curable or not, chronic or occasional; though the phrase “have not completed” indicates that you can sometimes endure fasting.
In general, diseases with which one cannot endure fasting fall under two types:
First: curable diseases that occasionally befall man. A sick person in this case may break fasting and wait for recovery to make up the missed days of Ramadan. Allah says in the Quran what means
“But one among you who is sick or is on a journey [shall then fast] the same number of other days.” (Al-Baqarah 2:184)
Second: incurable chronic diseases for which recovery is not expected. A sick person in this case has to feed an indigent person in compensation for every day he/she missed in Ramadan.
Allah knows best.
