We have disagreement with my wife who wanted to go out without my permission and in her attempt to resist my order, l told her , if she dare cross the main road leading to the town without my permission, is at the expense of her marriage and she went, but before reaching the main road, she asked to come back by her Uncle who the information and she obey. but after some hours, when I and the uncle went out, she moved out and cross the road to where she want before coming back later in the day. Then what is the position of the instruction given and marriage status in Islam?

If you intend to just threaten her without internally intending to divorce her, she is not divorced. You have to just expiate like breaking an oath.

If you really intend to divorce her if she passes, i.e. you liked to divorce her but you delayed it until she passes this road, then she is divorced if she does so.

Salam alaikum waramotullah, please I want to know which has more reward. Observing solat at it right time individually, or waiting for congressional prayer after the time might have passed. Am asking this, because I have Muslim brothers at my place of work who always have a fixed time for their prayers even if the weather changes. Ma'as-salam.

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Waiting for the congregational prayer is better because the Prophet commanded his companions to delay certain prayers for joining congregation. He also asked the man to make prayer again when he visited the mosque and found them still prayer.

Moreover, the Prophet used to delay Ishah until his companions gather. Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said, “The Prophet used to pray Zhuhr at midday,  Asr when the sun was still bright, and Maghrib as soon as the sun sets. But, he would vary the time of Isha. When he found the people gathered, he would pray earlier; and, when he found them taking their time, he would delay it. The Prophet used to pray Fajr  when it was still dark.”

Salamu alaikum please I had an infection so when I wake up in the morning I always see something white liquid on top of my penis, must I purify before pray

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Most probably this is a madhy  (urethral discharge). Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) Narrated: I used to get the emotional urethral discharge frequently so I requested Al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet about it. Al-Miqdad asked him and he replied, “One has to perform ablution (after it).” (Al-Bukhari)

You should only wash the area sullied with madhy and make wudu’. In case this turn to be uncontrollable and frequent to the extent that you think it is a disease, you may make ablution immediately before the time of prayer and cover your private part with some cotton and pray by taking all your time.

In this case, you are supposed to just pray the obligatory prayer and additional supererogatory prayers attached to it. When the time for next prayer comes, you repeat the same process again.

Salaam Wrb, shaykh. Do blasphemy laws exist in Islam? because I have come across a hadith by Abu Bakr when someone asked if he could kill the person that insulted him, then Abu Bakr replied it is only for the Prophet(S), I know that this hadith is in abu dawud so there is a chance that it is unauthentic(because he accepted some of Bukhari's rejected hadith) as Aisha on the contrary says that He(S) never responded evil with evil and he overlooked it and pardoned it(although it is reported in abu dawud but it is sahih). So the question is; Is the Abu Bakr hadith authentic?

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Insulting the Prophet at his time is a great treason for  Islam and Muslim. It includes doubting his mission as a Prophet sent by God to guide humanity. The Prophet commanded the killing of certain leaders among non-Muslims who either called people to kill the Prophet or even attempted to kill him personally.

Ali b. Abi Talib said, “A Jewess used to abuse the Prophet and disparage him. A man strangled her till she died. The Messenger of Allah declared that no recompense was payable for her blood.” (Abu Dāwūd)

Moreover, Ibn Abbas reported that a blind man had a pregnant slave, who used to abuse the Messenger of Allah and defame him. The blind man forbade her but she did not stop. One night she began to slander the Prophet so he took an axe, placed it on her belly, pressed it and killed her. The Messenger of Allah was told about it, and thereupon he said, “Oh people! Be witnesses that no Diyah is to be paid for her blood.” (Abu Dawud)

Assalam aalekum there is Hadith in ibne abi dunya, tabrani and Hakim about person who will enter jannah last that last person person when enters jannah he will show palace then he will fall in prostation thinking he show his Lord it will be said to him this is one of your many homes.this Hadith is present in majma Al jawaid and imam munziri book At Targheeb wat Tarheeb no 3704 please tell whether the Hadith the Hadith authentic or notThe text of the hadith was reported by Muslim in his Saḥīḥ. It is authentic and reads as follows: Ibn Mas'ud reported:

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Verily the Messenger of Allah said:

The last to enter Paradise would be a man who would walk once and stumble once and be burnt by the Fire once. Then when he gets beyond it, he will turn to it and say: Blessed is He Who has saved me from thee. Allah has given me something He has not given to any one of those in earlier or later times. Then a tree would be raised up for him and he will say: O my Lord I bring me near this tree so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink of its water. Allah, the Exalted and Great, would say: O son of Adam, if I grant you this, you will ask Me for something else. He would say: No. my Lord. And he would promise Him that he would not ask for anything else. His Lord would excuse him because He sees what he cannot help desiring; so He would bring him near it, and he would take shelter in its shade and drink of its water. Afterwards a tree more beautiful than the first would be raised up before him and he would say: O my Lord! bring me near this tree in order that I may drink of its water and take shelter in its shade and I shall not ask Thee for anything else. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam, if I bring you near it you may ask me for something else. He would promise Him that he would not ask for anything else. His Lord will excuse him because He would see something he cannot help desiring. So He would bring him near it and he would enjoy its shade and drink its water. Then a tree would be raised up for him at the gate of the Paradise, more beautiful than the first two. He would say: O my Lord! bring me near this (tree) so that I may enjoy its shade and drink from its water. I shall not ask Thee for anything else. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam! did you not promise Me that you would not ask Me anything else? He would say: Yes, my Lord, but I shall not ask Thee for anything else. His Lord would excuse him for He sees something the temptation of which he could not resist. He (Allah) would bring him near to it, and when He would bring him near it he would hear the voices of the inhabitants of the Paradise. He would say: O my Lord! admit me to it. He (Allah) would say: O son of Adam, what will bring an end to your requests to Me? Will it please you if I give you the whole world and a like one along with it? He will say: O my Lord! art Thou mocking at me, though Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Ibn Mas’ud laughed and asked (the hearers): Why don’t you ask me what I am laughing at. They (then) said: Why do you laugh? He said: It is in this way that the Messenger of Allah laughed. They (the companions of the Holy Prophet) asked: Why do you laugh. Messenger of Allah? He said: On account of the laugh of the Lord of the universe, when he ldesirer of Paradise) sai Thou mocking at me though Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He would say: I am not mocking at you, but I have power to do whatever I will. (Muslim)

Salaam Wrb, dear respected scholar, I have read a hadith that the Prophet allowed for the killing of a jewish woman who insulted him. I think the hadith is mursal or jayyid, but there is another story like this by Ibn Sa'b in his tabaqaat al kubra? is this sahih and are mursal and jayyid to be accepted?

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

The Prophet commanded the killing of certain leaders among non-Muslims who either called people to kill the Prophet or even attempted to kill him personally.

The story you mentioned was reported by Ali b. Abi Talib who said,

Salaam Wrb, respected scholar? Is tourism haraam? Because I have read two hadith one is that one of the sahabi asked the Prophet(S) to permit tourism, and the prophet said the only tourism permitted is jihad, and the other hadith is of ka'b al ahbar in muwatta. Are these sahih or is there a context or arabic meaning?Tourism

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Travelling in earth to contemplate in the creation of Allah and to entertain oneself is permissible as long as it does not involve any unlawful practices. The following are certain points which must be put into consideration for one who is going for a tour or traveling for tourism:

1- Tourism may be done for a legal reason such as performing Umrah or going for hajj or even for seeking knowledge or contemplating over the marvelous creation of Allah.  It may also aim at spreading the message of Islam by making dawah for Muslims and non-Muslims.

In Quran Allah says, “Say travel in the land and see what was the end of those who rejected truth” (Al-An`am 6:11).

Moreover, the Quran reads, “Say to them O Mohammad travel in the land and see how has been the end of the Mujrimoon (criminals, those who denied Allah ’s Messengers and disobeyed Allah )” (An-Naml 27:69).

2- It is haram to travel for the purpose of venerating a specific place, beyond the sacred mosque of Makka, the Prophet’s mosque in Medina and the Aqṣa mosque in Jerusalem.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah  be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah  be upon him) said: “No journey should be undertaken to visit any mosque but three: al-Masjid al-Haraam, the Mosque of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah  be upon him) and the Mosque of al-Aqsa.” (Al-Bukhaari and Muslim)

3- It is haram for the Muslim to travel in a non-Muslim land in general, because of the evils that will affect the Muslim’s religious commitment.

4- There can be no doubt that Shari`ah forbids tourism in places of corruption, where alcohol is served and immoral actions take place and sins are committed, such as beaches and parties and immoral places, or travelling to celebrate Charismas.

4- With regard to visiting monuments of former nations who were destroyed due to their disbelief in the Messengers of Allah, a Muslim is prohibited to enter those places where the punishment of Allah was inflicted on those people. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah  be upon him) passed by al-Hijr – which was inhibited by Thamud, he said, “Do not enter the dwellings of those who wronged themselves unless you are weeping, lest there befall you something like that which befell them.” Then he covered his head and urged his mount to move on quickly until he left the place behind. (Al-Bukhari)

5- It is also not permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram.

Assalamualaikum brother/sister, I live in Japan and I have no job because of my hijab. Nobody, literally nobody wants to take me because they have a problem with my hijab. Once I even tried to apply for a job and in the description section they said "NO HIJAB". After that day I lost hope, and I have no money left to support myself and my family. What should I do? And about moving to another country...I can't do that when 1. I have no money and support from anyone 2. I have to stay for my children. What should I do? I have reached to the point where I just want to kill myself. I don't want to remove my hijab but they don't want me to wear hijab either. I got fired for wearing hijab. They thought it was only for few days or so but they got to know that I wear hijab everyday. I applied for so many jobs and they all asked me the same question "Are you going to wear that even when working?"

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

Hijab is an individual duty upon the adult Muslim woman. God the Almighty says, “And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests.” [Al-Nur: 31].

Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her] reported that when Asmaa the daughter of Abu Bakr approached the Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] wearing transparent clothes, he turned away from her and said, ‘O, Asmaa! When a woman reaches the age of menstruation, nothing should be seen of her body except this and this,’ and he pointed to his face and hands” (Abu Dawud, Al-Bayhaqi, and Al-Tabarani)

I recommend you to search again and seek Allah’s help to support you and strengthen your faith. If it is almost impossible to find work and this will ultimately lead to a severe problem in finding a way of getting your daily expenses, in this case you can remove your hijab partially as much it is possible and only at times of work.

You must then wear decent clothes which cover the whole body.

Once you find another job which respects your religious choice, you have to put on your hijab and move to this job.

On the long run, you must seek a job in another country which may respect practicing your religion. May Allah make things easy for you.

I got married a girl who had previously married without her parents consent as she escaped with her first husband and she divorced her husband because her husband forced to marry her. After I fall in love with girl(at present my wife) without any bad act but I married the without my parents consent from local registry marriage office. My mother and dad don't agree to accept her as she had previous marriage and bad record. They are saying they will not accept if they die and saying to marry another new girl who is also good girl as far as I know. If I don't marry the new girl, they(parents) will curse me always says to others family members. They are crying with me to marry the new girl. My question is What can I do ... Do I have to divorce her for my parents and do I have to marry the new girl. The thing is that our marriage life 8 years and we live together and as far as I know her character is good. When I got married, I was 23 now 29 and my wife is now 26. She is pious and always pray after married with me. She is waiting for me 8 years with good character.

Obedience to parents is obligatory as long as it does not go beyond a child’s ability or inflicts a harm to him. This is based on the Prophet’s saying, “There is no harm to be inflicted or reciprocated”.

Divorcing a wife without a justifiable or a legal reason is prohibited, since it involves injustice to wife, husband and their children.

Therefore, you are not supposed to obey your parents in divorcing your wife. You have to speak to your parents in a gentle way. You must not dissever your relations with them.

As salam Aleykoum,I would like to ask a question quite intimate My husband is asking me to do anal sex, I believe it is forbidden and I don't want to do it.He, thinks it is allowed... he showed me this video : https://youtu.be/ZGGncyXCQAgIm not convinced as I read many articles/ Hadiths which demonstrate the opposite. Imam Malik never allowed this ?Could you help me I'm afraid that will lead to trouble in my marriage ?Thank you

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

The video you sent is by a Shi’i. You cannot trust their claims. Moreover, There are many authentic reports which show that anal intercourse is haram, such as the following:

1 – It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The one who has intercourse with his wife in her back passage has disavowed himself of that which was revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).” Narrated by Abu Dawood (3904); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

2 – It was narrated that Ibn Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will not look at a man who has intercourse with a woman in her back passage.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (1165); classed as saheeh by Ibn Daqeeq al-‘Eid in al-Ilmaam (2/660) and by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

3 – It was narrated that Khuzaymah ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah is not too shy to tell the truth” three times. “Do not have intercourse with women in their back passages.” Narrated by Ibn Majah (1924); classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh Ibn Majah.

Wa `alaykum as-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

There is no problem in applying henna to hair, hands and feet either during menstruation or purity periods as long as it is does cause any attraction to the other gender.
