Q:

Aoa .I am having a  very  big problem. I study in co education school and there is a problem so I donknow what to do not want to shift from that school.I try to sit at a angle where I cannot see girls .The girls dont wear hijab or scarf.Whatever I try I cannot  lower my gaze .When I lower my gaze I cannot look at the board and important work is left out and my teachers say I dont focus. BUT when I dont lower  my gaze and see the board i tell to myself my intention is to study not looking at girls. THEN my mind says to me look how beautiful she is etc and i feel sinful. PLS suggest me a way to lower gaze and maintain study without getting sinful.

May Allah protect you and help you overcome this test. You need to strengthen your relation with Allah and to develop and enhance your sense of God-fearing and your awareness of divine watchfulness. This is what will help you avoid gazing at women everywhere.

Practically, the best solution, if you can do it, is to find another single-sex school. If this solution is unavailable, then you may try some other techniques, such as sitting in the front row or where you cannot see the girls. Drive away Satan’s whispers regarding your female classmates by constant remembrance of Allah.
