In an effort to serve those in need with dignity, Muslim Hands has opened a community kitchen to provide free meals for homeless people and low-income families in the London Borough of Hounslow.
The new project is a small restaurant providing free lunch between 12:00 pm-2:00 pm and free Dinner 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.
It aims to provide 100 hot, nutritious meals to the poor people twice a day throughout the week.
“We cannot ignore the hardships many people are facing on a daily basis,” Lakhte Hassanain, chairman of Muslim Hands said in a press release issued on December 3.
“Since 2012, Muslim Hands has been working to tackle issues of poverty, exploitation and exclusion within the UK,”
Established in 1993, Muslim Hands is an international aid agency and a registered UK charity dedicated to providing emergency relief and tackling the root causes of poverty around the world.
