Some people have long, thick hair, and it can be tough at times to wash their hair fully during ghusl. Is there an exception in this matter for them?

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
1- Scholars agree that washing the hair during ghusl out of janabah (sexual intercourse) or after finishing the menses is a must. You have to make water reach the roots of the hair.
2- If your hair is thick or long or you have dreads, you have to wash the head and you do not have to fully wash the extra hair.
