Q Most accessories are not pure in their form. They have other substances added to them. Watches that we see today are a mix of steel, silver, gold and platinum. Is it permissible for Muslim men to wear gold accessories?

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. 

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

In this fatwa:

1- To reach a conclusion and decide if one should wear a certain gold accessory or not, we need to assess what the majority of the substance is.

2- If the majority of material permissible, then the accessory is permissible. If the majority of material is impermissible, the accessory is impermissible.
