All praise is due to Allah. Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad.

 

I see nothing wrong in your supplication. But love alone may bid you to commit sins. You need to take the legitimate way and propose for this girl. You need also to pray istikhatah (a prayer followed by a special formula of invocation seeking Allah’s help in making choice) and to be ready for and pleasant with the result.

 

You said that the girl does not feel the same love toward you and thus you may not get married. We do not know the future or the unseen and this why we are required to pray istikharah, because in instikharah we declare out own ignorance and inability and our trust in Allah’s knowledge, wisdom and power. Perhaps what we think is good for us is really bad and will affect our life negatively.
Just let your heart be filled with full trust in Allah and reliance on Him. Do not let your feelings overcome your thinking. Our feelings may delude us.

 

Finally, let me remind you of the Islamic criteria for choosing a wife. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her family status, her beauty, and her religiosity. So, you shall choose the religious one.”
