Marking the event’s 20th year anniversary, Charity Week is seeking a new milestone by pledging to raise £1 million for Palestine.

“The situation in Palestine is unbearable for many. Gaza has been described as an “open-air prison”,” the website read.
“Conditions in Gaza were dire even before the recent escalations in conflict, with occupation, blockade and recurring conflict causing deep poverty and suffering.
“This project will go to provide life saving aid & essentials where it is most needed within Palestine.”
Charity Week is organized by Islamic Relief, an international humanitarian organization. It provides aid, food security, and orphan support to people after natural disasters.
