We know that Allah swears by the days of Dhul-Hijjah. Do we know how Allah swears by them and the benefits of them?
In the Quran, Allah swears by the dawn and the 10 nights. Allah swears by the even and the odd and the last part of the night. The first 10 nights that Allah swears by are the first 10 of Dhul-Hijjah and this is the consensus of the scholars. This is a sign of it’s virtue that Allah would honor it with an oath. There is a minor opinion that it means the last 10 nights of Ramadan.
Some say why does Allah refer to them as the nights and not days. Scholars of Arabic language and Quran say that the nights and days are interchangeable.
From this we can see that Allah given us blessed days and seasons and times of the year. During these blessed days, we should take advantage of them and do as many good deeds as we should!
