In this inspiring episode of inspiring journeys to Allah, we take a look at Marlene’s journey. Marlene grew up in the City of Commerce in Los Angeles.

Marlene was one of five children and she lived within a vibrant Hispanic community. Religion and culture were at the forefront of her life and her relationship with her father was very important to her.

She was naturally curious as a child and she had many questions about her beliefs. These were often brushed aside. She had to do research on world religions for a class and this is how she was introduced to Islam.

Islam captured her heart. Now that she could see Islam, she saw it everywhere!
