Dear Muslim scholar, sometimes removing my hijab is a difficult task when making wudu especially if we are out. Is wiping over the hijab sufficient for wudu?

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
- The strongest opinion is that it is permissible for a woman to wipe over her hijab.
- Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wiped over his imamah and over his shoes.
- If it is hard for you to take off your hijab, such as when outside the house, then it is permissible for you to wipe over your hijab during wudu.
