A questioner asks do other religions have a Judgement Day or is it only Islam? Judgement Day is not universal. Amongst some religions there is no such concept such as in Buddhism. In Hinduism there is the idea of reincarnation.
In Judaism, Christianity and Islam there is a Judgement Day. The Judgement Day comes later on in the Torah in the Book of Daniel. However, it is very prominent in the New Testament. Of course we all know it is very prominent on the Day of Judgement. We know we are judged for our deeds on this day when we are resurrected. We will stand in the court of justice before Allah.
The value of Judgement Day is that it helps to make sense of the injustice that we see in this world. We know that on this day we will be brought to justice by Allah. Dr. Shabir Ally discusses.
