The mission of Moses (PBUH) was the same mission of all the prophets. The mission of all messengers was the purpose of guidance. It wasn’t just to drown pharaoh. This is not the only reason Moses (PBUH) was sent to his people. 

We do celebrate the victory that Moses (PBUH) had over Pharaoh but he was just one part of the story of Moses. Allah knew that Pharaoh would not be guided but he sent Moses anyway just in case the soft words Moses (PBUH) used did change Pharaoh’s heart.
