All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
1- When we handle any funeral during COVID-19 pandemic, we have to abide by the guidelines the health officials.
2- If they say that we cannot wash the dead body, then we perform tayammum over it.
3- If officials do not allow more than five people to offer the funeral prayer, then only five people should offer the funeral prayer. Other friends and family members can offer funeral prayer in absentia.
4- If the funeral is streamed, people can perform funeral prayer from home.
