Have you ever tried to love someone just for the sake of Allah?
Not for any worldly benefit, but just something amazing attracts you towards them. It may be their piety, their good they make to please Allah, or you seek a dua from them.
You yearn to enjoy their company in Paradise even though you haven’t seen them in this world.
This is not an ordinary love. It’s a pure level of love; a love that Allah praises; a love that makes Him looking for you in the Day of Judgment to shade you with His shade:
Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory? Today, on a day when there is no shade but Mine, I shall shade them with My shade. (Muslim)
Love For Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
A man came to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said:
O Prophet of Allah, when I am with you, I’m elated, but when I leave you and go back to my family, I start to miss you and my heart yearns to see you; then I leave my family and come back and lay my eyes on you and I find peace and happiness in my heart once more.
But the thought came to me that soon you will die and I will die and you will be in Paradise up there with the Prophets. And I, if I enter Paradise, I will be in the lower levels and will not be able to see you again.
You Will Be With Those Whom You Love
For one of the very few times, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was speechless. So Angel Gabriel (peace be upon him) comes down with a revelation to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger – those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favour of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions. (Quran 4:69)

By Allah, there was no hadith that was more beloved to us than this hadith; for by Allah, there was no one we love more that the Prophet of Allah, Abu Bakr and Umar.
