7 Types of People Allah Loves Most

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

Allah said: My love is due to those who love one another for My sake, meet one another for My sake, visit one another for My sake and spend in charity for My sake. (Malik)

Four categories of people, if you want Allah to love you try at least to be a part of these four categories:

1- Those who Love for the Sake of Allah

Allah made it obligatory upon Himself that He will love everyone that loves another person for the sake of Allah.

Let me ask you how many people that you truly love for the sake of Allah?

On the Day of Resurrection, there will be people who are so close to Allah…

The companions asked:

“What they do to deserve this status?”

He said:

They are the people who loved one another only for the sake of Allah without any blood ties, without any business transactions.

Find four or five people that you really love for the sake of Allah.

2- Those Who Will Sit Together for the Sake of Allah

Purely for the sake of Allah. Not for political reasons, not for business transactions, not for social events, not for wedding, not for chit chat… But you sit together for the sake of Allah.

Umar ibn abd al Aziz, after he finished the work of the government, he used to bring righteous individuals and used to say:

“Le us sit and remember Allah.”

Those are the people who deserve His love.

3- People Whom You Visit for the Sake of Allah

When you visit someone and you don’t want business or a favor from him, you just want to visit him for the sake of Allah.

Do you have that?

4- Those Who Give for the Sake of Allah

Give not only money but sometimes you just give of your time for the sake of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

For me to help my brother in one little thing is more beloved to me that doing itikaf in my masjid.

5- Those who Do Nafl

In a famous sacred hadith, Allah said:

…Nothing is more beloved to Me that I ask of My servant than for Him to perform obligatory prayers. But if My servant keeps performing voluntary prayers, then I will love him.

So you pray your nafl, Allah will love you, if you pray witr, Allah will love you, if you pray your sunnah, Allah will love you, if you’re fasting some days Allah will love you.

6- Is For You to Repent and Go Back to Allah

Allah said in the Quran:

Allah loves those who always repent.

Not only when they sin, but always repent.

7- Those Who Benefit Others Most

If you want Allah to love you, don’t discriminate; don’t say ‘I’ll only help Somalis, Pakistanis, Indians, Syrians… because I’m of that race’

If you want Allah to love you, then benefit everyone.
