The US Muslims’ major event, MAS-ICNA convention, started yesterday, featuring a galaxy of scholars, educators and activists and a schedule rich with lectures, training workshops, discussions and other different activities. Recognizing the challenges Muslims in the US are facing, the convention’s theme focus this year on “American Muslims: Islamic Duties and Civic Obligations.”
