Imams Condemn Atrocities Against Rohingya Muslims & Call for Solidarity

Rohingya Muslims are facing appalling atrocities and merciless extermination. Here, scholars and Imams urge every Muslim to act and stop this terror.

Believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.

This beautiful hadith by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) highlights that Muslims are akin to a living person.

This conveys the feeling of the closeness of Muslims to each other. Here each one’s pain is shared by another since they are from the same body regardless of location, language or ethnicity.

On these grounds, our Scholars and Imams voiced their objection and pain to the atrocities practiced in Myanmar.

Here we are called upon to rise in unison. We must get behind them to bring them back on their feet, to end the violence, and to whole-heartedly support them.

Surely, we are expected to do our part. We will be held accountable.
