A hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) says:
Every Friday, there is a competition that takes place. The angels stand at the doors of the masajid, the houses of Allah, they’re writing down who came first, who came second, third… (Al-Bukhari)
But we, as believes, sometimes might not realize that there is a competition going on, but we will feel it if we come first.
So make an effort to come earlier on Friday. Give it importance because Allah has given it importance. The hadith says:
Friday is the best day of the week that the sun has risen upon. It is the day that Adam was created, and it is in Friday that resurrection will happen upon… (Muslim)
So many things are made mention of. It is a blessed day. We thank Allah for giving us this day.
There is a certain hour in the day of every Friday is such that if you call out to Allah in that moment, you will definitely get what you’ve asked for as long as it doesn’t have sin or something evil in it.
You will get it.
There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand. (And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands.) (Al-Bukhari)
We normally tell people start asking Allah from the morning. Repeat the same dua every little while, continue right till the end of the day and see what happens.
May Allah help us.
If a person is really desperate, they will do that, because they know that Allah is telling us there is an hour on Friday that the dua is accepted.
