Abdulrasheed Bello, movie producer and former singer known as JJC Skillz, has shared an emotional post to celebrate his first anniversary of reverting to Islam, saying he has found a deeper sense of connection with God and found his purpose since he became a Muslim.
In post via Instagram, JJC Skillz recounted how he reverted to Islam with the help and guidance of his beloved big brother, Kemi Filani News reported.

“Today marks the anniversary of a significant turning point in my life. Guided by the support of my beloved big brother,” the popular songwriter and filmmaker wrote.
“On the 10th of July 2022 I embraced Islam and embarked on a path that has brought me immense growth, understanding, and spiritual fulfillment.
“Reverting to Islam has allowed me to forge a deeper connection with my Creator, finding solace and peace in the knowledge that I am part of a greater plan and it has granted me a sense of purpose.”

He also thanked the Muslim community that took him as one of their own and embraced him with love which has given him a sense of belonging and unity.
“To my loved ones who have witnessed my transformation, I am grateful for your unwavering support and acceptance. Your love and encouragement have strengthened me, affirming that this choice was not made in isolation but within the context of a larger community,” he wrote.
Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world, with the number of Muslims set to grow at more than twice the rate of the overall world population between 2015 and 2060 according to research by the Pew Research Center.
