Kazimiya Hatim, at 104 years old, is the oldest Hajj pilgrim this year.
Among over 33,000 Iraqi pilgrims expected for Hajj, she was warmly welcomed upon her arrival at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah on May 25, showcasing her remarkable determination and devotion, Arab News reported.

Iraqi agent Ali Abd Al-Rida Khazim accompanied Kazimiya from Madinah to Makkah aboard the Al-Haramain train, after performing their visit to the Prophet’s Mosque.
Determined to join hajj pilgrimage, Kazimiya said she was happy to be in the Kingdom.
Hajj 2024 will commence on Friday, June 14, and will continue till Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Hajj consists of several rituals, which are meant to symbolize the essential concepts of the Islamic faith. They also commemorate the trials of Prophet Abraham and his family, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon them.
Every able-bodied adult Muslim who can financially afford the trip must perform hajj at least once in a lifetime.
